A sequel to The Cowabunga Collection could be a reality
This has been a fantastic year for Ninja turtles. A couple of months ago shredder’s Revenge, a completely new game. at the end of August it was available The Cowabunga Collection , which includes 13 unmissable titles. As if that were not enough, rumors have pointed out that next year another delivery would arrive, one inspired by _rise of the teenage mutant ninja Turtles. Now, a recent interview gives us hope to see another collection in the future.
Recently, Nintendo EveryTHing interviewed Charles Murakami, Konami's senior producer, and Chris Kohler, editorial head of Digital Eclipse, about the cowabunga collection. When they were questioned before the possibility of seeing a collection focused on the Ninja turtles games we saw in the 2000 , Murakami commented:
Never say! I waited for decades for a Tmnt Collection, and seeing other fans share my desire to see this united project is one of the best moments of my career. Although sometimes the stars have to align for a project to join, it encourages me when you see fans pushing those stars to fit in their place.
Although this is not an official confirmation, considering the great reception of the cowabunga collection, as well as the fact that Konami is willing to offer sequelae of its collections, does not close the door before the possibility of seeing a package that includes games as the beloved delivery of 2003 , battle nexus and mutant nightmare. In related issues, here you can check our review of the new collection.
Editor's note:
Although the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox generation collections are not so common, this would be the perfect work for Digital Eclipse. Hopefully this idea will come true in the future.
