Resident Evil Village sales overcame the mark of 6 million copies
In recent years, new games and remakes of the Resident Evil series have been getting excellent reviews from the game community along with commercial success. Therefore, it is not surprising that the last part of the franchise also continued this trend.
In its last report over the past financial year, Capcom announced 6.1 million copies of the Resident Evil Village sold from the release on May 7, 2021. For comparison, in January this indicator was 5.7 million, which means that the game continues to attract new players.
Last summer, Capcom officially announced the first addition to the Resident Evil Village, about which we still do not know anything except that it is under development. Let's hope that at the upcoming Summer Game Fest exhibition, developers will finally share new details.
