The working at the next update are therefore in full swing! The developers today test many different game components and their interaction. In a post in the official forum of SWTOR , the developers give us a small look behind the scenes of the world of game design. Chris explains a member of the community team, how difficult is the design of changes for such a big and complex game like Star Wars: The Old Republic. The developers must consider many things in their work. In your focus, for example, the interaction of different systems and features are in the game. The biggest challenge is to keep an eye on the many details. Finally, even a small change in one place, other systems in the game can influence massively. The team can often only be difficult to simulate these many synergies on the paper or tool.

To test all customizations in a timely manner, the developers of SWTOR create a kind of prototype from the game. The tests are then repeated as often as possible. Some game content allows the team to test immediately on the PTS (Public Test Server). This helps the developers to understand the design pattern of different players. The team is also looking forward to the feedback of the tester. This makes your work easier. Hand-proof information about the upcoming SWTOR update is on the next page!
